1.HOW DOES POWER SAVER SAVES ELECTRICITY BILLS?
A . It reduces the choke current and other losses in circuit, provide optimum power to lighting circuit while operating. Thus it reduces consumption of electricity and saves electricity bills 20 to 30% of lighting power.
2.WHAT DOES THE QUANTUM OF SAVING DEPEND ON?
A . Savings depend on the type of discharge lamps used.
Installation with ordinary fluorescent lights with chokes, typically saves about 25%. High intensity sodium lights power saving are higher than 25%.Lights fitted with high energy efficient chokes have saving around 15 to 20%.
3.DOES “SERVOMAX” POWER SAVER EMITT’S ANY RFI?
A . Servomax power saver does not emit any RFI.
4.ANY EFFECT ON FREQUENCY AND HARMONICS?
A . The mains power frequency has no effect on power saver. Servomax power saver reduces the harmonics content in the system
5.WHAT IS THE EFFECT ON INCOMING VOLTAGE FLUCTUATION?
A . The equipment works between 380 to 480 v
6.CAN IT BE CONNECTED TO MIXED LOADS?
A . We recommend that proportion of acceptance of motorised load to be kept to below 50% of saver capacity. (In case of ps:99.)
7 . WILL THE LIGHT INTENSITY BE REDUCED?
A . In all practical cases the reduction of light intensity observed 2 to 3%. In general, reduction of light intensity can not be detected by human eye.
8 . WHAT HAPPENS IF THE UNIT IS OVERLOADED?
A . The unit is designed to withstand 125% over load capacity and protections provided with MCB, MCCB and HRC fuses depend on capacity.
9 . WILL POWER SAVER IMPROVES POWER FACTOR?
A . Though the unit is not power factor correction equipment, however power factor improvement is noticed.
10 . WHAT ARE THE OTHER BENEFITS?
A . Saves Power.
Improves Life of Equipment.
Reduces Premature Failures.
Reduces Frequent Breakdowns and Maintenance Cost.
Reduces Harmonics.Improves Power Factor
